Stars - the number of stars that a project has on GitHub. Growth - month over month growth in stars.
Activity is a relative number indicating how actively a project is being developed. Recent commits have higher weight than older ones.
For example, an activity of 9.0 indicates that a project is amongst the top 10% of the most actively developed projects that we are tracking.

People who use chat GPT
Some people like to use ChatGPT in the shell and use it for quick things like creating an array of psco's. Or translating a regex to "english". Of course, you can do these things in chat or shell window. What about generating a few pester tests to round out your new feature? Yup, chatGPT can be useful there too. Etc. etc.

School Policy on ChatGPT
So far just two of us have been messing with: https://github.com/dfinke/PowerShellAI and seeing what it can do. I was fortunate enough to be able to code most of the work day yesterday and found it really helpful because it didn't take focus away from the terminal / vscode. Bring up my web browser and I have a tendency to check reddit or one of the other 50 or so tabs. So far personally I have been using it 99% powershell and the occasional asterisk question. I am going to do some retired hack the box machines this weekend and maybe I will see how well it can help me enumerate services.
