Have you looked at Plexguide? https://github.com/PlexGuide/PlexGuide.com You need a system to run plex, cloud or on-prem, and a google business account. Costs about $12 a month for unlimited storage. If you build a server on GCP(Google Cloud Platform), you can ride there backbone making file transfers between your server and Gdrive very fast.

Megasync using way too much ram
even if you are, I just tried https://rclone.org/gui/ on a lark and it is very nice. I also tried https://github.com/kapitainsky/RcloneBrowser/releases/download/1.8.0/rclone-browser-1.8.0-a0b66c6-linux-x86_64.AppImage and it works OK too. I can't say I like either of them -- particularly because for long transfers neither of them is giving me the kind of progress that rclone -P does, but they're there...

On mac and paid for the VRP config on discord - installed brew, Sidenoder, macfuse, and did a ton of research but no dice. I can't use parallels - are there other clients I can use with the paid config?
And if you DO end up using rclone browser theres a much better one.... https://github.com/kapitainsky/RcloneBrowser This is the one everyone uses and the one pkuba was talking about im sure.

Whats the difference between a union remote and a combine remote?
Using Rclone Browser. Or is there a way to hide remotes? thought maybe i could do this by editing either rclone itself or rclone browser but I'm not a coder/programmer. I was able to encrypt the config and use the exe as a "key" by editing the rclone.exe from GitHub with the help of a friend but me and this friend haven't been seeing eye to eye lately and i'd rather not ask for help with this issue. Also he doesnt know about combine or union regardless...

Either way rclone browser with a sidenoder config would work for Linux for sure. There's more then one way to skin a cat. I'll send you a link so you can have FFA mirrors on Linux even without sidenoder or Loader... If you can handle an install from GitHub? Up to you.
