Will using a cantenna work to boost a raspberry pi's FM output?
Since I don't have a legit FM transmitter at the moment, I'm trying to use the raspberry pi fm radio transmitter linked here. https://github.com/ChristopheJacquet/PiFmRds just using a wire gives poor signal, and I have quite a supply of cans. Would jury-rigging a cantenna improve the signal here?
- FM stream is too slow

Pi 4 Bullseye Giving Blinking Power LED
I had an extra pi 4 laying around. I was able to get this version of piFm working. https://github.com/ChristopheJacquet/PiFmRds
- The Pi 4 works pretty well as a transmitter with rpitx now

Need to stream MP3s or playlist file across LAN. What's the simplest way?
As long as we're talking about actual radio, you can turn a raspberry pi into an ugly FM transmitter. https://github.com/rm-hull/pifm

My Home Setup - Storage/Network/Power - Further Description in Comments
One of the other things that piqued my interest initially was PiFM. I was going to rebroadcast a radio scanner over (very) short distance FM but instead just moved to having the radio scanner connected to the line-in on the server and using Discord to transmit. The latter ended up being way easier and more convenient (assuming my phone is in range of Wi-Fi or cellular networks).
