Casting YouTube to RP?
I'm trying to cast any video from YouTube to a RP4 using the Chromecast (DIAL?) protocol. How do you do this? So far I've tried PiYouTube, RaspberryCast, PiCAST, PYCASTER, and NymphCast. All unsuccessfully.

Have a look at the Balena Sound project on Github here and other possible options would be Volumino or RuneAudio - they are not up to professional multi-room sound systems but may give you some of the functionality you want.

My setup is Ubuntu server 22.04 LTS running on a Lenovo laptop. I want to have Spotify Connect working on it and to be able to play music through the speaker that get connected to the laptop thru 3.5mm AUX cable.
