For your case i would suggest a photo vault called photok, it encrypts your photos in a secure vault. Search it on fdroid or you could look up the source code availabe in github. https://github.com/leonlatsch/Photok

Are there any photo/video encryption programs for linux? (Something similar to Photok for android)
So far I'm just using veracrypt but it takes time to create containers and move the files manually. I'm just looking for something that hides photos and videos behind in the program itself, kinda like Photok for android. Any options?

It is cool, I suggest it. Another similar application is Secure-File-Manager but I am not using it 'cause it's still in Alpha/Beta.
