Stars - the number of stars that a project has on GitHub. Growth - month over month growth in stars.
Activity is a relative number indicating how actively a project is being developed. Recent commits have higher weight than older ones.
For example, an activity of 9.0 indicates that a project is amongst the top 10% of the most actively developed projects that we are tracking.

If I run a Minecraft server on a k8s cluster, will the workload split into the nodes ?
You can run separate MC servers on each node, then put a proxy (e.g. Velocity) in front of them.

Modded Server Lagging on Shockbyte 12GB Plan
Minecraft can't really make use of more than one CPU thread. If your world is more complex than that can handle, you're more or less SOL - you can either remove stuff until it fits again, or slice your world into parts that each fit and make them act like one server again. (Velocity can do the network magic and Inventory-Sync will handle player data, though it seems to need special-casing for each mod. For automation across sub-servers I can't find anything.)

[Question] Is there a way to use an older version's world generator?
You can run multiple servers in parallel, with e.g. Velocity. It supports sharing data I think.

[New to Velocity] Trying to remove permissions for /server command
As the title suggests, I am trying to remove permissions from all users (except me) from using the command /server. I am trying to use Luckperms to do this (setting "velocity.command.server" to false for the group default), but I can still run the command (even after putting myself in the default group and deopping myself). Image of Luckperms web editor I posted an issue on Github aswell. Hope we can solve this!

I am stuck at separating the inventory between dimensions
The best way is to make the creative world a separate server, but connect both servers using, for example, Velocity. If something happens to the creative world and the server crashes, the main server will not be affected.

Hopper - Fast, configurable, lightweight Reverse Proxy for Minecraft
How does this compare to [Velocity](https://velocitypowered.com/)? Velocity is insanely powerful & lightweight, using plugins with it is very neat.

Tried joinign an online server and it says "Missing profile public key". i can join other servers, but not this one.
I've known this issue for quite some time now. It's an issue with Velocity, rather than LC. There could be a chance that it is LC messing with the security features and keys. But rather it's this issue that has already been patched

loxcraft: a compiler, language server, and online playground for the Lox programming language
Bob Nystrom also has a blog, and his articles are really well written (see his post on Pratt parsers / garbage collectors). I'd also recommend going through the source code for Wren, it shares a lot of code with Lox. Despite the deceptive simplicity of the implementation, it (like Lox) is incredibly fast - it's a great way to learn how to build production grade compilers in general.

Bevy 0.10: data oriented game engine built in Rust
Only kind of unrelated ... Every time I see the Bevy logo I'm reminded of Wren language https://wren.io/

Are they all like this?
If you want a pure C99 (sadly not C89 like Lua) immensely fast embeddable language pure interpreter, wren is a great language with excellent features like overload by arity. There is a huge maturity gap between the languages tho.

Most important language features not touched in the book "Crafting Interpreters"?
Check out the source to Wren: https://wren.io. It’s from the author of Crafting Interpreters and builds directly on what’s discussed in the book (essentially a more complete Lox) and adds several additional types, including an array.

What are some good C programs I can read through?
The best C code I have ever read is that of wren.
