How do you read word document files using powershell?
There are libraries out there that can work with the Office OpenXML (docx) formats without needing an install of Office, such as: https://github.com/EvotecIT/PSWriteWord

The unreasonable effectiveness of i3, or: ten years of a boring desktop
Scripts like https://github.com/Raphire/Win11Debloat help, but should not be needed in the first place.
Note that modern Linux is also leaning towards the same trend. But i admit it is still much easier to avoid those for power users. Snap, i'm looking at you also...

First PC build
For my Windows, I first run a ‘debloat’ script to remove all of the unnecessary bloatware that is included with Windows. This is the one I use. Afterward, I use Macrium Reflect to back up both my OS and my Games storage onto two separate storage drives (all internal m.2 drives). After that, regular cleaning of the disks using Disk Cleanup, maybe one/week, and everything runs smoothly.

Is there a way to keep the axolotl logo from the Bing suggested search? Sorry if incorrect sub.
You can remove it by disabling bing in the windows search. This script has a registry file for it: https://github.com/Raphire/Win11Debloat

Just installed Win 10 on a new machine (no choice; different discussion). I have minimal experience with it. Can someone point to a respected, maintained guide to privacy settings?
Most of the bloat can be removed with powershell commands, many of which can be found in lots of articles online with a search. This script removes some typical stuff.
