Software installer
I ended up using https://github.com/nvdweem/PCPanel instead of the official software. Thank you for the reply though.

trying to set up PCpanel pro with OBS studeio but the web socket link doesn't appear when I click on the Cogwheel settings.
Starting with OBS 28, the WebSocket plugin should be 5.0+. There were some huge changes in the WebSocket 5 so the implementation for that was changed. In the open source version, I dropped support for 4, I'm guessing the official software did as well.

Inverting the action of sliders on a PC Panel Pro
My non-official software has this in the 1.7-SNAPSHOT version.

PCPanel Pro and OBS 28
The non-official software also has support for OBS 28.

High CPU Usage under Services and Controller App?
Are you using the official software or nvdweem's 3rd party one from github? If you're using the official one, I use nvdweem's and have had far less problems (none, to be exact) and there are so many more features. I see no reason not to try it out and see if it fixes your problem! https://github.com/nvdweem/PCPanel/releases/ P.S. i recommend installing v1.6 first, making sure all your current settings transfer over and then installing snapshot 1.7 if you choose to do so, as v1.7 converts the file to a different file format for the save file and im unsure how that works going straight from the official software.

Volume control on my Mini is completely broken
If you are using the official software, you could try the open source version to see if that works. Or the other way around if you are using the open source version already. The biggest difference between the two is specifically how they control the volume.

Is there a way to set a keyboard command to switch profiles within the PC Panel software?
There is in the open source version. The cogwheel next to the profile has an option for an `Activation shortcut`.

what is the easiest way to decompile, edit and recompile a mod?
IF you've got the legal situation all sorted out, and know that you need to change a Java class file, and know how to program in Java, I'd suggest Recaf. With it, you can import a jar file, decompile, edit and recompile any source files in it, and export the whole thing again.

Is there any tool for Java reverse engineering that doesn't totally suck?
No one seems to mention Recaf wich is the best option IMO. You can choose between different decompilers (Fernflower, CFR, Jadx, Procyon and others) has bytecode editing capabilities (you don't have to fully decompile, you can edit the bytecode directly), built in peephole optimizations for flow and number obfuscations, various search options for methods, members, strings, and method virtualization via SSVM

What happened to JFX-Central?
Uhhh, no? For something like JavaFX, which I've complained about its bad native handling before, you can still make a multi-platform jar with a little bit of effort. For instance my project Recaf is distributed as a single JAR file. Just install JDK 11+ and you're good to go.

Visual diff text comparator GUI component
I did something like this, but its not its own control/library: https://github.com/Col-E/Recaf/blob/dev3/recaf-ui/src/main/java/me/coley/recaf/ui/pane/DiffViewPane.java

The Code the FBI Used to Wiretap the World
The decompiler they used to view that code is not very good, that output is garbled.
If you're going to take apart JVM bytecode, you're better off using Recafe or Quiltflower.

Rat finding tools
I've recently been searching for tools that can help me find rats within jar files. So far I've found jd-gui and Recaf, do you all have any suggestions for other tools?
