is there a way to change the song list on taiko web to a vertical scrolling?
You're look for simulators rater than emulators (remake of taiko gameplay in the style of arcade vs cracked arcade data): every official song, made by me my ff14 customs from the creative list Opentaiko, the best and currently under development nijiiro simulator. Open is getting a new update on the 30th so you may want to hold off on download until then.

Taiko no Tatsujin Simulators on Linux
I almost got OpenTaiko to run after using the above steps and installing the "MS UI Gothic" font, but couldn't get past a SlimDX error. Maybe someone more knowledgeable than me can conquer this. If you do, please let me know!

Taiko no Tatsujin Simulators on Linux
TJAPlayer3-f runs natively on Linux but its code needs to manually changed in order to be able to do anything other than autoplay. This is the required code but it needs to be implemented and compiled, which is a real barrier to entry for many. My impression is that this fork will likely never be made playable by default.
