Having looked at the source code on this page of the github, it looks to me (as a C# beginner, not an expert) like it reroutes any attempt to launch Oculus VR to instead launch SteamVR by way of changing the directory path.

I am using OculusKiller mod. I dont think it's the issue though. idk. Let me hear your opinions and ideas to fix this issue please! Thank you! :)

Try killing oculus dash. https://github.com/OpenOculus/OculusKiller

If that doednt works go into joblist -> services and see if you can find "ovrserver". If it is there, and running, try installing this

Then I use OculusKiller to disable the Dash that opens and instead just goes straight to SteamVR.

I couldn't get OculusKiller to work after I had to reinstall the Oculus app on a new PC this last week. I gave up until tonight when I tried using Oculus VR Dash Manager which purports to switch between Oculus Dash and SteamVR on-the-fly.

Then try using Oculus dash manager which will automatically install oculus killer, and allow you to switch between the different dashes along with some other small quality of life changes.

Oculus Dash Manager will allow you to automatically install Oculus killer, and give you a few more options, like switching between steamvr and the oculus app.
