You've probably read it already, but here's the Open PS2 Loader Read-Me document.

Apparently the problem is still going on according to this github issue report the difference is that report is from SMB.

Can you test it with this OPL version here?. I found it on github and this supposedly fixes things that plagued OPL on 7500x slims and up.

Funny, I just saw similar report on OPL's github about this problem the difference is that report is using PADEMU instead of adapters.

OPL-DB (Daily Builds) is unofficial and outdated. It's best to use the official OPL Builds for the best compatibility. Unofficial builds like OPL-DB tend to introduce certain issues and compatibility problems not found in the official builds.

Replace it with the official latest builds of OPL instead.

The PS1 tab was never official. The popsstarter integration is only in the ps2-home.com "Daily Builds" version. That version hasn't been updated alongside the official one for several months now. Whatever the most recent Daily Builds version is might be recent enough to have zso support and the other more recent features. This looks like the most recent Daily Build, I dunno if it's the version you already have or not though

The daily build betas support PS1 games with less workarounds than the official one, so I use that to play PS1 games.

Get OPL from here: https://github.com/Jay-Jay-OPL/OPL-Daily-Builds/releases its the build that has PS1 Games tab on it since the other builds don't include that since they focus more on PS2 games compatibility.
