I actually had the same question when seeing this, so I did some research and found nro2nsp, which on top of letting you put homebrew on the main screen also lets you put roms there too.

why would you give up retro arch? if you cant be bothered going through and loading the core and content you can use https://github.com/Root-MtX/Nro2Nsp to make the extenstion of the rom into NSP so you can launch your favourite roms from the home screen, watch a tutorial on it. you will need keys.txt to use NRO2NSP

Yeah I am still on FW 11.0 as I have Atmos SXOS Ubuntu and Android on my sd card and still wanted SXOS to work still.havent had any issue updating atmosphere on slightly older FW in the past so I though as the sigpatches were updated it would be safe enough.my forwarders still work on SXOS still work and that doesn’t need sigpatches as you already know so I assumed it is down to either Atmos or the sigpatches.hopefully MtX will update Nro2Nsp but it hasn’t been worked on or updated in a very long time!i can hope though lol

You will need keys for Nro2Nsp if you are using SXOS any key you find on internet will work.

You need to use the Lockpick_RCM payload to generate the keys that NxNandManager wants in its keyset, and then you need to give NxNandManager the keys by placing the .keys files in the program folder and then working in Options > Configure keyset.
