When you mean separating the script do you mean syntax highlighting? If you want to separate blocks of code you can use //[ and //] at the start and end of your code block. Then if you install the source VDF plug-ins for Notepad++ you can then collapse and expand your code blocks.

What's the easiest way to quickly run SQL queries on a small datasets?
I haven't used this myself yet, but there is a Notepad++ plugin called CsvQuery, which will let you run SQL statements on CSV files in Notepad++.
