I have never used NodeJS, npm, or gulp before so I am trying this project (https://github.com/BootstrapDash/Material-Admin) as a dashboard for a personal home automation project that will be running on a Raspberry Pi Zero W. I used this tool to install the latest version of NodeJS: https://github.com/audstanley/NodeJs-Raspberry-Pi.

I'm building an admin interface for a home automation web app for my personal use that is going to run off a Raspberry Pi Zero W. I am using a free template I got from https://github.com/BootstrapDash/Material-Admin and am following the given instructions. I have never used NodeJS, npm, or gulp before so I am installing them. I know there is weird behavior with installing NodeJS from apt, so I used this tool to install the latest version: https://github.com/audstanley/NodeJs-Raspberry-Pi.

There is also an automated script for installing Node (https://github.com/audstanley/NodeJs-Raspberry-Pi) which I have tried in my Dockercompose file too. It runs successfully and the Node binaries can be seen in the correct folder but I get the same error as above.
  • NODE update
