I’d recommend you have Git installed so you can clone the repo recursively (git clone --recurse-submodules https://github.com/jorio/Nanosaur) and Python 3 so you can run the automated build script

Nanosaur remastered (PC/Mac)

I think it was bundled with new Macs for a while similar to Bugdom (same developer even), so it was pretty popular for a while. There is even an open-source port that will run on modern systems as well.

You can play the original Marathon(s) on Mac, Windows, and Linux now thanks to Aleph One [0]. There's also new scenarios for the engine still being released, like Apotheosis X which came out last year [1].

Marathon. Bungie doesn't sell the game anymore, but they did upload it to the internet. I linked to Aleph One Sourceport instead though since the original doesn't work on Windows natively.
