I got a Wii U!
- For NES, SNES, N64, GBA, GBC, and DS, the only access point was the VIrtual Console...which is now closed. Do not fret! By using an app called Nusplii, you can download the entire Eshop library! If piracy is not your thing, you can install Retroarch to play everything up to GBA using your own Roms

What will happen to The Wiiu usb helper thingy to download game files for modded wiis after the eshop shutdown? It will work after that?
for wii u games there's something called nusspli, which is essentially hshop for the wii u, although i believe it pulls the games straight from the eshop servers just like wii u usb helper. for wii games i use TeconMoon's WiiVC Injector, which injects wii rom files and lets you show them on your home screen as virtual console titles. pretty cool stuff!

How to download game for Wii U?
download nusspli - https://github.com/V10lator/NUSspli and put in a folder and name it "nusspli" without the quotation marks and put in it sd card -> wiiu -> apps on the pc.

YSK your old Wii is the perfekt retro gaming console
This is the guide, and this is a tool for downloading wiiu games (only download the ones you own though, obviously). Emulators also exist for the wiiu. I think retro arch is the best way on a wiiu, although GameCube/Wii games can be played natively.

wii u can't find breath of the wild dlc, any ideas why?
Try to reinstall the DLC. If you can, use nusspli to install it. I recommend it because I tried to fix this same issue with WUP installer and couldn't get it to work. Installing the DLC with nusspli once made it show up in my game.

Since you already have your Wii U modded, you probably want the game to be an icon on the Wii U menu. This can be accomplished with either the All-in-One Injector or Teconmoon's WiiVC Injector.

Yeah you take your own ISO however you legally acquire it, then run it through techmoons Wii U VC injector, then install it, takes a while but is super easy but that one only works for Wii and gamecube games

Thirdly, the only way to make GameCube injections is to use TeconMoon’s WiiVC injector. You will need a Wii U Common Key & a Rhythm Heaven Fever Key to make it work.
