I was looking for a way to use custom cursors for my Mac when I came across a cool app called Mousecape that allows you to do just that. Unfortunately, there isn't a strong community creating cursors for it so I decided to give it a crack. You can snag the files here https://github.com/obatola/mousecape-hand-cursor.

This got me wondering how I could set my macOS system cursors to something else.

Works on Ventura.

There's also MouseCape for mouse cursors.

If you are on Mac, download Mousecape. It allows you to reverse all the built-in cursors (or add third-party sets). It runs under Monterey (my current OS), and likely Ventura; runs on both Intel and Apple Silicon processors; and is free!

This page explains a little about it and it has a list of workaround and alternative workflows for the most common ones. They even link another workflow to use instead of Convert which I find it even better.

After that, it would be the “calculate anything” workflow which uses a natural language process to calculate pretty much anything from simple math to currency and unit conversions.
