I was looking for a way to use custom cursors for my Mac when I came across a cool app called Mousecape that allows you to do just that. Unfortunately, there isn't a strong community creating cursors for it so I decided to give it a crack. You can snag the files here https://github.com/obatola/mousecape-hand-cursor.

This got me wondering how I could set my macOS system cursors to something else.

Works on Ventura.

There's also MouseCape for mouse cursors.

If you are on Mac, download Mousecape. It allows you to reverse all the built-in cursors (or add third-party sets). It runs under Monterey (my current OS), and likely Ventura; runs on both Intel and Apple Silicon processors; and is free!

Tip: I use Rectangle app to set up keyboard shortcuts to resize windows (I only have three shortcuts there: left/right half of the screen and full screen).

But Raycast also has some functionality in that direction.

I suggest using Rectangle instead of Magnet; it has the same features but is free. I don't know what other Windows features you want to have.

I’ve used this app forever. Adds in all the window snapping features.

I was a Spectacle user for years, but I recently switched to using Rectangle for window management. Rectangle has a few more options than Spectacle; I’m still getting used to it but I have no strong feelings either way.
