Are you 100% sure that your user file is loaded at all? Does all the other, non-RH stuff work? What is the file name of the script you are editing? Is it under GearSwap/data/? I really think the whole job_self_command thing should be working: https://github.com/Kinematics/GearSwap-Jobs/wiki/Commands

Need a hand with a RDM Gearswap Lua
These are also known as Kinematics lua, here's the issue however... its an abandoned project from 5+ years ago. Documentation is limited, and the mote-include itself is inadequate by todays standards and player expectations. I recommend Arislan's files as they have made necessary mods, without including too much automation . Im not a huge fan of the gearinfo stuff but thats just me, and one can strip the gearinfo code easily.
