if you're looking for true minimal resource usage, consider using something like minecraft console client

or without deleting your data, you could also try logging into the server using minecraft console client (this) and then doing /respawn, maybe that will work (i say that because this client behaves different to vanilla in many ways, including the way it handles deaths and it doesn't load terrain by default)

Should use a console client to afk, sends the packets of the player being in the world with none of the graphics. A quick youtube will sort you out if you're trying to find one, I've used this one for years: https://github.com/ORelio/Minecraft-Console-Client

You need to download Ambrosial to use Zephyr.

https://github.com/disepi/ambrosial is for zephyr, it uses a launcher type thing that also includes cheats for different updates of minecraft. Also for servers worth cheating on there is mineplex that has an anticheat but is terrible, and they don’t ban hackers they just kick them from games.
