Ever since Valve began to phase out custom skins, I've been working on remaking Metro in CSS (download link in comments)
There are still imperfections but the skin is fully usable. Downloadable here.

New UI is great! (and probably it's placebo, but Steam also runs faster with this beta update.)

Does anyone know why Metro skin only changes the top Hotbar?
