Anyway, there was a bug in version 3.0.0.9 in the auto update system showing this error. They have to manually update to make it work again. Here is the link : https://github.com/MatuxGG/ModManager/releases/tag/3.0.0.11

While I'm not currently using it, and you don't have to use for this mod collection, if you are looking for a way out of the paradox launcher I would strongly recommend the Irony Mod Manager for Paradox Games! You can read more about it here: https://github.com/bcssov/IronyModManager

I think I'm going to cheer you up, you can use this to "steal" and this to manage.

Irony Mod Manager has a conflict checker. It will catch most of your problems.

Dowser.exe, the launcher can be used, start the launcher, log into your Paradox account there and on the Paradox mods website. Once you're on the website you can subscribe to mods. Additionally, I would use the IronyModManager for enabling and disabling mods, personal experience is that mods tend to work better when using it than the regular one with the cracked game version. Not all mods will worked on the cracked version sadly or present on the Paradox mods website.

And there are mod managers like irony or Paradoxos. And pdx-unlimiter can also start pdx games and automatically activate the mods which were used on a given save game. Though I don't know how well any of these tools handle the DLC issue.

Use Irony Mod Manager. Make sure to check compatibility/the mods are updated.

Sadly the Irony Mod Manager is no longer supported and is already showing problems with the newest launcher. You must either find someone who can take over the project or install mods manually.
