jlong/micCheck privacy
I was also using that app, as it has a nice UI as i learned from this list(featured on best MU apps on that list) and it mentions it as Nonfoss app (maybe before it used to be foss app). So, with a sad heart i left that app as i prefer foss apps more although it has the best UI. We normal people can't find out what can be tracked...

Mozilla tells extension developers to get ready to finally go mobile
LinkSheet [1] can do that. It's a small app that you set as the default browser and shows a prompt when you open a link to allow you to choose what to do (eg. open in browser, open in app, share link, remove tracking URL parameters, etc.).
If you don't care about any of the extra functionality, you can configure it to always open your preferred browser and convert Custom Tabs intents to regular ones. No root access required.

All Reddit links open in browser and no longer in infinity
No, is Android BS, latest versions are just a mess setting up default apps. I use LinkSheet as default browser to manage the default apps.

I have a weird one: Can't text recipe links?
For context, I'm using the DuckDuckGo browser. As well I also have linksheets installed ( https://github.com/1fexd/LinkSheet ). Unsure if that is actually working in the background to make this work.
