Improve performance and battery with ThrottleStop
Yes, it's very simple. Go to the link and download the 6.82 MB file. Make sure your laptop has 30% or more battery and make sure you plug in the charger before running the BIOS installation. If it's not 30% and plugged in, the BIOS will not install.

Finally got it! Monterey (12.3.1), WiFi, Bluetooth, Audio on Surface Pro 7 - my other post was removed for "Distributing EFIs" [description in comments]
It's very complicated to set up and there's a guide here: https://github.com/profzei/Matebook-X-Pro-2018/wiki/Enable-BIOS-Secure-Boot-with-OpenCore. I forgot to save my EFI keys so now I can't revert back even if I wanted to.

Is it possible to make a new Catalina patcher for AMD/ATI Radeon 5xxx and 6xxx?
I have a 2010 iMac with ATI Radeon 5xxx and The patcher slowed down the Mac very much, I want to install macOS Catalina with full graphics acceleration and I heard that Legacy-Video-Patch got a full support for ATI Radeon 5xxx and 6xxx. Is it possible to do the same for older macs with a new Catalina patcher since Dosdude1 isn’t around at the moment.

Kernel Panic after applying Legacy Video Patch to AMD hack
So, my XFX 8800 GS works perfectly fine in High Sierra. I installed 10.15.7 to the machine, installed all updates, patched my GPU in OpenCore's config. Then I turned off SIP and installed Legacy Video Patch, and after rebooting I got a kernel panic. It's complaining about NVIDIA kexts:
- How do I increase the vram to 512MB on the x220 Tablet? I’m also having some battery issues + no touch on it.

Does the Radeon 6970 have any support for any recent MacOS Hackintosh?
Your card officially loses support at 10.14. chris1111's legacy video patch allows full resolution, but there is no graphics acceleration.
What are some alternatives?
