Web based game in Raku
I am the lead dev of https://github.com/Raku-MUGS which is an actively-developed framework for building multi-user game services in Raku. Docs are in the https://github.com/Raku-MUGS/MUGS repo; release announcements are in https://github.com/Raku-MUGS/MUGS/tree/main/docs/announce and the roadmap is here: https://github.com/Raku-MUGS/MUGS/blob/main/docs/todo/release-roadmap.md . Note that there are still some bits that I've prototyped locally (such as an arcade game to prove that the system was fast enough for twitch games), but have not yet uploaded; I'm working on that too.

What is Your Preferred Vim Setup When Writing Code in Raku?
I'm not 100% sure how they compare, but I've been very happy with the standalone MoarPerf debugger (which is fairly official – the its not built in the Raku GitHub organization, but it was funded by a grant from YAS)

Performance
One big change since 2017 is extensive profiling tools. (For now, afaik, the smoothest way to use them in an up-to-date manner integrated with an IDE is to use the commercial version of Comma. Alternatively, install a stand-alone version (likely older) from here.)

For profiling/debugging the first choice to look at is Comma IDE. There are a couple of related modules too. And lesser known moarperf tool.
