Is Mpv worth it even if you don't use scripts?
try mpv.net if you are on windows, it's based on mpv but gives you enough options to not feel lost, mpv-easy player is also another excellent option if you want eye candy and extra skins.

Cant Save Videos In Webbrowser With Mpv As
Yeah I agree. I've actually switched now to MPV-EASY Player. With that one I don't have the download issue in edge.

I've recently found out an awesome script (for MPV media player) for skipping openings and made a few tweaks to it. I've been finding it very useful for watching long anime like Naruto so I thought I should share it with this community.
