Mpc x for low price or mpc x se for ram
I am inclined to say "no", but actually IDK - there is preset for AKAI MPK249 but never tried one - I use desktop software only for autosampling vsts. I did my template by myself to make sure it works how I wan't it - it's really not more than 5 minutes. The only problem is that the stock firmware don't allow to load templates from MPC Desktop to use template globally (you can only assign controllers per project). But if you use rooted firmware (https://github.com/TheKikGen/MPC-LiveXplore-bootstrap) you can use your own templates (require a bit skill with commandline but it is not hard)

modding mpc one into mpc live 2
I believe all MPC (part Force) have same firmware. It is basically a Linux machine. If you haven't seen, here is the best place to learn: https://github.com/TheKikGen/MPC-LiveXplore

Is this Proof of a MPC + Force combined workflow?
Haven't used Force, but if those screens aren't available in Force firmware, they're probably using some custom firmware like this or this.

Historical Timeline of the Akai MPC

While it is just easier to just buy and install the MPC Live software on a regular computer you have me wondering if one could adapt the firmware to upgrade and boot on a more powerful cpu than the Rockchip RK3288 / 2GB these devices currently have.
