Unfortunately no mods aside for MHR Overlay really help for what you're asking, which is an standard experience just making the birds easier to distinguish between, MHR Overlay adds a nameplate above pieces of endemic life. It's also pretty customisable.

vj base npcs behaving weird and dying from literally anything (ignore players is turned off and i have vj base isntalled and turned on)
