I reported Halo 2 MCC's tickrate effecting weapon balance/AI. They tried closing this bug report TWICE because fixing a massive bug is considered to them to be a "feature request". This is not okay.
Are you on PC? You can use https://github.com/Daylonz/MCCBounceEnable to set the tick rate back to 30.

Halo 3 30 tickrate
Well, it’s possible for Halo 2. I can only guess that there’s just no interest in applying it to Halo 3 as that game never had super bounces, but maybe that repo could provide clues. You can attach Cheat Engine to the game and try to hunt for the right values, but it will take a while.

Superbouncing is quite possibly one of the greatest glitches in all of gaming history
It did, however, the original bounces can easily be enabled with the help from a small program.

I remember spending countless hours in the year 2005 trying to get the Scarab Gun. Here I am in 2021 revisiting the easter egg and after well over a hundred attempts I finally got it just right!

Rust for realtime motion control.
Not directly related but there are some Rust wrappers around EthetCAT libraries such as https://github.com/ethercat-rs/ethercat. EtherCAT is commonly used as a realtime fieldbus in industrial motion control, for example KUKA and Staubli use EtherCAT between their motion controller and the servo drives. KUKA uses Acontis as the EthetCAT master software, but I am not sure what motion libraries they use.
