MALSync VS PlexAniSync

At the moment, I'm using MyAnimeList Sync to sync my AniList lists to MyAnimeList, but it comes with a few issues.

MAL is (and still will be) my primary, since it has the best UI imo as long as you ignore the ads. i have MAL-Sync set to auto sync to AniList as a backup but I don't actively use AL.

why you guys dont use stuff like anilist/mal? to save stuff i will never know. MyAnimeList Sync (malsync.moe) enjoy :)

I haven't tried it myself yet but I have heard that MAL-Sync is good for this https://malsync.moe/

MAL-Sync is good to have as it helps with syncing your lists if you want to have both MAL and AL, also updating when watching.

This is a plugin that auto updates your watched progress on Plex to Anilist (an anime tracking site like MyAnimeList). Thanks for the input.

I'm considering developing (maybe?) a plugin that accomplishes this, similar to this plugin for plex: https://github.com/RickDB/PlexAniSync. Unless obviously a solution exists. Thoughts?

There's this if you want to switch to AL. The repo owner said that the script is broken for the MAL version.

Kinda of late to this but I use https://github.com/RickDB/PlexAniSync. All you have to do is setup the script on your plex machine it takes the plex title and matches it to anilist and updates your profile if your watched number on plex is more than the watched number on anilist. Some shows you have to manually match but it works wonders when you fully set it up.
