Do you have a reference? I've played Luna Multiplayer so I personally get how it handles time warp. But I can't find a description of it in the documentation to share with others, only this technical description which leaves a lot un-defined and doesn't explain how it relates to the gameplay experience.

Multiplayer mods have existed for years and are rather refined already. Such as Luna MP

The game Kerbal Space Program is probably my favorite game of all time (although pretty old), and it has a wonderful mod called "Luna Multiplayer" that allows for LAN/WAN multiplayer.

I am trying to get LMP to work on version 1.10.1 to run RSS/RO/RP-1 with a friend, but I am unable to get the LMPClient that works with that version of the game. I have tried downloading and using Luna Multi Player 0.26.0 which should be the compatible version of LMP for game version 1.10.1, but on launch, it throws up an error saying the mod is not compatible with the version of ksp I am running. I have also used updated releases 0.27.0 and 0.28.0 to see if there was some backwards compatibility but those also do not work.

We had Windows users in the past where some GitHub domains were overridden in the hosts file, maybe check that. Also check if you can access https://raw.githubusercontent.com/KSP-CKAN/CKAN-meta/master/repositories.json and https://github.com/KSP-CKAN/CKAN-meta/archive/master.tar.gz in your browser. If it works, it means something is interfering with CKAN specifically, if not, you know that it is blocked system-wide.

Which version are you missing? CKAN has v6.99.0, which does appear do be the latest one according to the forum thread as far as I can see.

Yes it is marked as compatible with KSP 1.10.1 in CKAN, and no, getting it manually is not the right way for RSS/RO/RP-1.

Yes and no. The way CKAN works is that there are tens of thousands of metadata files, one for each mod release. It contains all the necessary data CKAN needs to know about the mod, like installation instructions, dependencies, compatibility, version number...
