Apple Watch+tubeless pump for loop?
it exists now (i use my iphone for DIY loop with dexcom G6 and omnipod dash) but you need to learn how to build the app yourself, apple will not allow something like this on the appstore. It's really great when you can get it to work https://github.com/LoopKit/Loop
- Just started, is this the worst app ever?

Is Dexcom G7 compatible with OmniPod yet?
I use the G7 and OmniPod together with Loop. It's great!

Apple Makes Major Progress on No-Prick Blood Glucose Tracking for Its Watch
Heh -- Apple Watch + Loop (https://github.com/LoopKit/Loop) handles all my insulin dosing, so technically definitely a killer app that I can't live w/out.
I've turned off all other features/notifications on my Apple Watch, it just does this, and it's the most valuable product I use (since I no longer have to pull out an insulin pump in a meeting, look at some other screen to see glucose values, etc etc etc).

APIs to humans - Curse or Blessing?
I am a person with Type 1 Diabetes (T1D). Knowing certain up-to-date data about my body is essential for a tight schedule of multiple daily precise treatments. Hence my opinion on the question is, of course, biased. I consider myself a T1D Cyborg, as parts of my body functions have been replaced through technology. I wear a blood glucose sensor and an insulin pump 24/7. I let an algorithm on my phone decide whether to administer a hormone that could be lethal if incorrectly dosed. I benefit from both sensors (in this case, the CGM) and actors (the insulin pump) connected to my body, and being readable and writable through APIs. Regarding my chronic disease, my available human APIs are a blessing to me.

Unofficial Omnipod app?
They provide an pumpcontrol variant on GitHub here, it doesn't have the looping enabled https://github.com/nightscout/AndroidAPS/releases

Getting started
Bugs/issues can be reported here: https://github.com/nightscout/AndroidAPS/issues
- AndroidAPS: Opensource automated insulin delivery system (closed loop). (Not OC, but I think it's incredible as a diabetic myself. You may also want to look into OpenAPS if you're interested)

insulin pump thoughts
I've been using https://github.com/nightscout/AndroidAPS with omnipod and dexcom. I enjoy this more than any of the fda approved versions because I have more flexibly and I can use my brand new s22 ultra without issues. I know there is an apple version but I'm not an apple person so I know nothing about it.

OmniPod Dash
You can use the androidaps pump control app with an Android phone. https://github.com/nightscout/AndroidAPS/releases

Why I hate the omnipod dash pdm
Just in case it might interest anyone using the dash, androidaps has an option for pump control which doesn't include any of the closed loop things and just offers control of the pump from your phone (boluses, temp basals, etc). It's available for download here and recently added support for dash.
