🦀+ 🦕= 😎 I wrote a blog post about experimenting with Deno's Rust crates to run JavaScript inside Rust application
I personally use deno for the Lodestone Project, a FOSS open-source game server hosting tool (shameless plug). One of the features coming up is a plugin system that allows users to write typescript code to communicate with lodestone directly and a system that allows users to implement a game server instance in typescript which lodestone can run at runtime, all powered by deno. If you are interested the code is here and here
- Lodestone v0.4.3 is out (open source server hosting tool for Minecraft)
- Lodestone V0.4.2 is Out (A Free, Open Source Server Hosting Tool for Minecraft) and Adds Support for Forge and Paper
- Lodestone v0.4.1, a New Minecraft Server Management Tool (FOSS, self-hosted))

We need More servers for my revival
as my revival only have 1 server avaliable, we need more people hosting it, because my timefuse is -3:00 (brazil), and we need way more avaliable servers for others play. so please, message me the address of the playit.gg or the server address.
-
Free reliable public address for self-hosted server
playit.gg was good until it suddenly stopped working.
-
want to add your server in my revival? well you can do it
playit.gg is a trojan

Starting to give up on foundry
For this issue, playit.gg makes everything so easier on connecting and self-hosting. No port forwarding or nothing needed. They even have a video showing how to connect Foundry, specifically
-
Server without portforwarding
RadminVPN, Tailscale, Ngrok, and Playit.gg, just giving more options.

Could I safely make a public server over my home network on a dedicated computer?
Originally I wanted to host it on a dedicated machine (Lenovo M710q Tiny PC). It's the model with a i3-7100t and I know it's more than capable of running the server. Though safety is what came to mind immediately. DDoS protection, hackers, whatever else. I wanted to use playit.gg instead of port forwarding for some safety and also using a domain I bought on name.com.
What are some alternatives?
