How would I fetch place id in swift whether from lat,long or street address

Variable not updating
What I recommend is to use something like CoreData to store your data centrally (which is accessible from any ViewController) - this would mean writing to the CoreData every time you modify the data — (example) (example 2) - and it would mean grabbing the central data every time you load the view — (example) (example 2)
