They don't do anything worth paying for. Only thing that limiting blue light accomplishes is weakening the effect that blue light has in disrupting your sleep schedule, which you can accomplish with a program like Lightbulb.

Alternatives for f.lux and Lightbulb on Windows 10?
Again, I understand why the creator has decide to purposefully do this, but this makes Lightbulb unusable for me now with my use case, so I need to move on. Any recommended alternatives?

For now, maybe consider something like f.lux or lightbulb. I use lightbulb, it's great.

What are some alternatives?
redshift - Redshift adjusts the color temperature of your screen according to your surroundings. This may help your eyes hurt less if you are working in front of the screen at night.
