How to extract games from HD Loader hard drive?
You can use HDL Batch Installer or PFS Batchkit Manager to extract the games that you've installed on HDD back to ISO.

If you open your hard drive with WinHIIP again, does it show any installed games? You did ran it as Admin right? Anyway, WinHIIP is outdated (Not supporting 2TB drives, 255 games limit), use something like HDL Batch Installer or PFS-BatchKit-Manager.

I came across a 2TB hard drive formatted for my old phat PS2, but for the life of me I can't get larger games(4gb+) to work at all. Please help?
Okay, first of all, you should format the drive on your PS2 with wLaunchELF (Internal HDD doesn't use FAT32, but Sony's own PFS file system). Then you can install the game with either HDLBatch or HDL Batch Installer or PFS BatchKit Manager
