what would be the most efficient way to wire a keyboard like this?
I'n making a new keyboard that has a similar key layout to the Pteron. (The 44 key version)
- faux fox keyboard (ffkb) - 5 or 6 column, low profile or MX, two types of encoders, and OLED/pimoroni trackball/3rd encoder support in the center

Dactyl Manuform layout vs Ortholinear
For portability I hand wired an pteron (https://github.com/FSund/pteron-keyboard) which offers you a choice of number of keys. I am quit happy with it.

Short questions: what are the differences to the https://github.com/FSund/pteron-keyboard ? Are there any advantages?

pteron 38 key - I have a serious keyboard obsession... It's a problem.

Notes: I think my ideal would be a Pteron56 in a high profile case with a seam so you can tent Will be using Colemak DH or similar Decent budget but would be nice to keep it around $200 if possible I have big hands
