[Guide] Extracting Steam Guard TOTP secrets from the Android app for use in Bitwarden or other authenticators without root
I did it some time ago by another guide for Windows, without much complication (I think): Obtaining TOTP secret from Steam Desktop Authenticator (SDA).

This is getting out of hand
KeePass supports MFA. The apps (Keepassium, Keepass4Android) have it baked in. The desktop version requires you to install one plugin.

Steam's login method is kinda interesting
There are some desktop implementations of Steam TOTP client, so you don't even need a rooted phone, as long as you trust some random open source code. https://github.com/KeeTrayTOTP/KeeTrayTOTP#documentation

I'm trying to extract a save game from the quest2(android) version of a game to transfer to PC (Confirmed working) but I have some issues with not understanding how Gradle, Or this ABE program works.
This is the program I'm using after already having extracted the data, now this program is supposed to turn that data into a usable file that will let me transfer my save. https://github.com/nelenkov/android-backup-extractor I've installed gradle since that's the one option that seemed easiest, and now I have no idea where gradle installed because there's no option to run it, I've tried running the commands I'm supposed to run in the CMD but they don't work, it's telling me " Use gradle to create an all-in-one jar: ./gradlew" and then: "java -jar build/libs/abe-all.jar pack|unpack|pack-kk ..." But none of these commands work.

Extracting raw images from the polycam 3d scanner app
1) download ADB from https://developer.android.com/tools/releases/platform-tools 2) extract adb binaries, i put them in C:\platform-tools 3) open cmd in the folder where you extracted the binaries 4) connect your phone via usb, unlock it, and write "adb backup ai.polycam" into the cmd 5) on your phone, there will come an dialog about backup. dont fill in the password and click backup on bottom right 6) wait for the backup to finish 7) now in the folder, there will be backup.ab, but we need to decrypt it 8) download the abe.jar from https://github.com/nelenkov/android-backup-extractor/releases and put it into the same directory as adb 9) in cmd, run "java -jar abe.jar unpack backup.ab backup.tar" (if you dont have java runtime download it) 10) this will create backup.tar that you can now extract with 7zip, winrar, etc 11) the raw images will be located in "\apps\ai.polycam\f\myCaptures\random_id\keyframes\images" i hope this will help someone! :)

Adb restore app failed. App backup was taken from a shadowcopy (Windows restore point) and I think the app backup is partially corrupted? Help!
The second decrypts an encrypted ADB backup file producing a "tarball" (the .tar file). This requires abe itself (from https://github.com/nelenkov/android-backup-extractor/releases) which requires Java (e.g., from https://www.java.com/, https://openjdk.org/, or https://www.microsoft.com/openjdk), and works on *BSD, Linux, macOS, Solaris, and Windows. After which the contents can be inspected or extracted using a tool that handles tarballs, such as 7za, 7zip, PeaZip, tar, or WinZip.

[Guide] Extracting Steam Guard TOTP secrets from the Android app for use in Bitwarden or other authenticators without root
If you are not rooted, download Java, as well as Android Backup Extractor. If you are on Windows, drop abe.jar into your platform-tools folder from when you installed ADB to make things a bit easier for later. Also, download 7zip or use your favorite archive manager capable of opening .tar files, or just use the tar command on Linux or macOS.

I can't root my phone without losing mission-critical data, and that data can't be backed up without root. So, that said, I'm investigating a way to install MicroG, but don't know if it'll work, and I want to know if anybody has insight or advice or experience with this.
What you can try however, is backing up the data using adb backup, and then pulling the data from the backup on your computer using a tool like: https://github.com/nelenkov/android-backup-extractor (related blog post from the tool's author: https://nelenkov.blogspot.com/2012/06/unpacking-android-backups.html).
