Try with my configuration: https://gitlab.com/Jimbus/sway, I have implemented alt-tab, super-a super-d for clients switching, super-w super-s for workspace switching and multi-monitor shortcuts. My configuration works like PapyElGringo Material Awesome. Just to let you know, my English is bad, code comments could be painful to read.

- does sway have any way to have more workspaces using the numbers row on a keyboard for switching?

- i3 equivalent (if possible) to KDE's "Present Windows" feature. Displays all windows (all workspaces) and you can click the one you like. If you type while in this mode, it filters the windows with matching names, making them easier to find (nice to have).
- Use the same shortcut to switch containers and workspaces?
