Note Jump Offset: An Exploration
Personally I like 0.55. There is a huge difference between 0.6 and 0.5, but mods like MorePreciseNoteJumpDuration, JDFixer, or manually editing PlayerData.dat allow you to choose something in between.

Any way to change the note jump speed in 2022?
LevelTweaks is not being updated anymore, and I can't seem to figure out how either JDFixer or PracticePlugin work.. I don't care about score submission at all, so I'm completely fine with changing NJS causing score submissinon to be disabled. All I really need is a simple plugin like LevelTweaks was. Or an explanation of how to use the other two plugins to achieve this simple goal.
- Any tips on how to not do this constantly?

Practice Plugin Mod Alternatives?
There is a mod for changing your njd in-game (https://github.com/zeph-yr/JDFixer) on pc but it only works for 1.18.3. And the njs changer is only the source code and the last edit was 7 months ago (https://github.com/Kylemc1413/NjsFixer)

Stop The Boxes!
I think you’re talking about note jump offset, which can be changed in player settings or if you’re on pc you can use JD Fixer
