Note Jump Offset: An Exploration
Personally I like 0.55. There is a huge difference between 0.6 and 0.5, but mods like MorePreciseNoteJumpDuration, JDFixer, or manually editing PlayerData.dat allow you to choose something in between.

Any way to change the note jump speed in 2022?
LevelTweaks is not being updated anymore, and I can't seem to figure out how either JDFixer or PracticePlugin work.. I don't care about score submission at all, so I'm completely fine with changing NJS causing score submissinon to be disabled. All I really need is a simple plugin like LevelTweaks was. Or an explanation of how to use the other two plugins to achieve this simple goal.
- Any tips on how to not do this constantly?

Practice Plugin Mod Alternatives?
There is a mod for changing your njd in-game (https://github.com/zeph-yr/JDFixer) on pc but it only works for 1.18.3. And the njs changer is only the source code and the last edit was 7 months ago (https://github.com/Kylemc1413/NjsFixer)

Stop The Boxes!
I think you’re talking about note jump offset, which can be changed in player settings or if you’re on pc you can use JD Fixer

is there anyway to make arcs/chains with mediocre mapper assistant?
No. You should consider switching to chromapper. You’ll have to switch to the dev release in options for the new note types but that’s it.

Download Chromapper and you can get basic info with the mapping wiki and the Chromapper wiki

Y'all ever just wake up in one of "those" moods?
You can always build yourself by following this guide: https://github.com/Caeden117/ChroMapper/blob/master/BUILD.md

No hate, Beat Sage is cool and all, it's just not perfect.
I used to do a bit of mapping, never released a map, but ChroMapper worked well for the short time I used it on my Chromebook.

I decided to mess with the new note types and this is what I made!
https://github.com/Caeden117/ChroMapper/pull/381 the pull request for V3 beatmap support (i.e. Arcs and Chains) has just been merged into the Chromapper code base as a new branch "feature/beatmap-v3"

Making a map with noodle extensions
Mediocre Mapper doesn't support Noodle Extensions. There is a map editor called ChroMapperthat supports Noodle Extensions but it costs $5 because it's in closed beta.

I still have a ton left to do on this and lots of tweaking to make it better but I feel proud about this lighting job so far! I just wanted to share it!
It’s actually quite simple! I currently use a program called ChroMapper which is currently locked behind a pay wall but there are other free softwares to try out! Check out Mediocre Mapper which is free to use! I find these better then the in game map maker XP
What are some alternatives?
When comparing JDFixer and ChroMapper you can also consider the following projects:
NjsFixer - Allows you to force consistent spawning of notes across maps.
BeatSaberCustomAvatars - Beat Saber mod that allows the use of custom player avatars for in-game body presence.
