How do you manage all your software? I’m just starting out on the smart path and need your help to understand rpi setup
I'm managing all these services with Docker Compose. This means I only have to backup one directory with the configuration and data of all services, and one file, the docker-compose.yml file that defines all services. You can find all source code of the book in its repository (https://github.com/koenvervloesem/raspberry-pi-home-automation), to give you an idea about how you would manage this.
What are some alternatives?
ubxlib - Portable C libraries which provide APIs to build applications with u-blox products and services. Delivered as add-on to existing microcontroller and RTOS SDKs.
Pi-Somfy - A script to open and close your Somfy (and SIMU) blinds with a Raspberry Pi and an RF emitter.
