Infinity VS ARK-4

The 3000 wan't permanently moddable for a long time. You'd run the exploits that you wanted every time you rebooted the system. Infinity changed that. It's a little shim that will start a CFW for you when the system first boots. So, you'd run another CFW, then install Infinity, and configure it to point to your CFW.

I want to put the latest CFW. I figured the safe way to do so is to update to OFW first then to the latest CFW. I downloaded the infinity deal from https://infinity.lolhax.org/. Right now i'm stuck at that step trying to put that CFW in. I did manage to update to the OFW currently so far.

If it works, it works.. but it's very old. You might want to look for Infinity (https://infinity.lolhax.org/)

There is old and trusty 6.61 LME 2.3 and 6.61 PRO C2 and there is the new ARK4

ARK-4 has it listed in its features. I've been told that it works as advertised, although I haven't tried it myself.

Update directly to 6.61 OFW, then install the CFW of choice. I recommended ARK-4, which is based on the PRO source and has active development.

ARK CFW

ARK-4 combines the capabilities of a bunch of the other CFW options. I haven't used it, but it's got a good reputation.

ARK-4 firmware has an option to change the UMD region in the recovery, this should let you play those videos.
