Masterlist of game.ini settings?
I refer to the Server Admin Guide and this guy's Server Config (although it is a bit dated now). Both of these are meant for servers but like 90% of the options apply to local play as well if you add them to your client's Game.ini.

need help with tdm server config
Normally I would say to check the Server Admin Guide but it seems like they removed the section containing the specific rules for the TDM/Domination gamemodes. Dunno what the defaults are, it could be that the score required for a win is 0 or 1 or something. I found a list of settings in zDestinate's server on GitHub but they are mostly for adjusting the spawn algorithm.

I need Engine.ini file to run my server?
Afaik all normal settings go in Game.ini, the only thing to be changed in GameUserSettings.ini is the Mod.io token. Engine.ini settings afaik are stuff which were discovered by the community and/or UE4 settings which are not specific to just Sandstorm. To find some of those you can try looking through zDestinate's server files on GitHub. Not sure how up-to-date it is though.

Tweaking bot count local play Firefight
I've seen plenty of guides for adding bots to checkpoint and coop, but nothing for firefight. I'm not even sure which one is the firefight mode in this command list https://github.com/zDestinate/INS_Sandstorm/blob/master/Insurgency/Saved/Config/LinuxServer/Game.ini Has anyone ever tried getting more bots in local offline firefight, is it even possible?

Server Help
I recommend using the Sandstorm Admin Wrapper if you want to host the server yourself. It makes managing the *.ini files a bit easier. Setting up mods is still a bit complicated though. Are you following the Server Admin Guide? If so which part are you stuck on?

Major problem running self-hosted server
As for using the Sandstorm Admin Wrapper, I ran into a problem

Any good rental servers for PC / NA?
Also worth noting if you want to jump down the rabbit hole and use some community server tools/plugins like SISSM or the Sandstorm Admin Wrapper you'll probably need to get a generic server/VPS instance to install them on rather than a managed game server. Or you could even try hosting it yourself at home if you're not bothered about uptime/port forwarding etc.

What Am I Doing Wrong Trying To Setup A Modded Multiplayer Server?
Use the Sandstorm Admin Wrapper community-made application (https://github.com/Joe-Klauza/sandstorm-admin-wrapper) to manage the server. I use it for mine. It wraps up SteamCMD so you don't have to worry about it, provides a nice web interface you access through your browser for configuring, supports swapping between multiple setups and you can do admin actions (like kick people) straight from the web page.

Why is there no simple way to make my own server?
For Sandstorm servers? I use the Sandstorm Admin Wrapper for mine, it handles SteamCMD for you: https://github.com/Joe-Klauza/sandstorm-admin-wrapper

Dedicated Server
I would recommend the Sandstorm Admin Wrapper, it handles the server install, also helps manage the server while it's running.

Private Server: Admin & MOTD Not Working
I agree, it's a bit of a pain. I switched to using the Sandstorm Admin Wrapper (https://github.com/Joe-Klauza/sandstorm-admin-wrapper) to manage my servers, it also takes a bit of setup but it does streamline the server management quite well and has some cool features like remote logins.

Question about dedicated server
Although if you are hosting at home, have you considered using the Sandstorm Admin Wrapper? As the name suggests it wraps everything up in a nice web interface while still giving you full control. Handles SteamCMD for you, supports multiple configs etc.

Fell in love - now I want more! (ISMC Mod question)
To host a private match on PC you need a dedicated server. Can either rent one or host it yourself. If renting make sure the provider supports mods as some don't. If hosting you'll need to be able to port forward. I recommend downloading the server files through the Steam client (it should be in your library under "TOOLS") or using the community tool called Sandstorm Admin Wrapper.

Dedicated Server Mod Loading Not... Loading
Alternatively you could manage the installation through the Sandstorm Admin Wrapper tool instead. It basically lets you configure all the files and settings via a web interface, including mods. It handles formatting all the commands to ensure mods get loaded. I've never had the mods not work once the wrapper itself was configured correctly.
