IMPORTJSONAPI VS google-sheets

You can access the API with IMPORTJSONAPI or a custom script.

I used https://github.com/qeet/IMPORTJSONAPI to bring it in to Google Sheets -- but there are a lot of ways to get it.

IMPORTJSONAPI or just a direct API call with Apps Script would probably be easier.

IMPORTJSONAPI has graphQL support.

You can use tcgplayers api (https://docs.tcgplayer.com/docs/getting-started) and IMPORTJSONAPI (https://github.com/qeet/IMPORTJSONAPI)

Use https://github.com/qeet/importjsonapi. However, that url seems to require a url key or some form of authentication so you'll have to pass those parameters.

I also tried using the IMPORTJSONAPI from https://github.com/qeet/importjsonapi but I am not sure if I can find the correct path and parameters.

I'd recommend using the Scryfall custom function. The layout of the site behind the scenes for Cardmarket makes it a bit tricky.

For importing card data and market pricing from Scryfall to Google Sheets, I'd recommend against using any of these methods - instead use the official plugin at https://github.com/scryfall/google-sheets. It gives you a =SCRYFALL() formula that's way easier to use.

You might find its use of scryfall API useful. I used to use importHtml and importJSON, but now I use https://github.com/scryfall/google-sheets. If you are tracking cards across a ton of sets, you're gonna have the problem with too many imports, and yeah, it's really frustrating.

Yeah it’s kind of buried but it’s on their GitHub page link in Scryfall’s footer.

The Scryfall API (e.g. https://api.scryfall.com/cards/random?q=usd%3C.4 ) is designed to be used for automated tasks like this, although I don't have any experience really working with google sheets. Trying to have a spreadsheet cell backed by a random value is conceptually kind of weird, so not sure exactly what the outcome would be, but theoretically, you can use something like IMPORTJSONAPI to put the results of an API request into the spreadsheet. (There is also an official Scryfall implementation for Google Sheets, but not sure that it handles the random API endpoint.)
