Shipping Clubhouse on Android in 10 Weeks
As someone who's built the unofficial Clubhouse Android app[1] with reverse-engineered API in 1.5 days right when Clubhouse was hyped the most, I only have one thing to say: lol, 10 weeks.

Some colleagues of mine have been sharing this github link claiming that it's a working clubhouse app for Androids. Considering there hasn't been an official Clubhouse release that's been verified, it comes off sketchy asf but no-one believes me. Is there a way to definitively prove that's the case
It has been tampered with. This is simply someone compiling the unofficial clubhouse client that has been available for many months now https://github.com/grishka/Houseclub The app in your link is not signed by Gregory, it is apparently a person who goes by "moradinejad". Github is not blocked in iran anymore, if this were a legitimate fork, you would find him among the 452 forks.

Show HN: I built a free desktop app for Clubhouse
Considering that people using the open source android version got eventually banned I wouldn’t suggest people try this out.

Android user options??
You can use the unofficial Android app, but a lot of people have reported their accounts getting suspended. The safest options now would be to wait for Clubhouse to release an official app (ETA 2 months) or buy an old iPhone for $90, which might or might not be worth it depending on what you use the app for.

Clubhouse user scraping and social graphs
To do all that, we have to parse Clubhouse. There’s no official API, so we used an unofficial API (thanks to stypr)!)
-
A clubhouse events search engine
First, I needed to access the "undocumented" and non public clubhouse API. I give it a try with this repo: https://github.com/stypr/clubhouse-py

Clubhouse API
At this point Clubhouse doesn't provide an open API. Someone on GitHub has actually reverse engineered the API which the iPhone app uses but using it may result in your account getting banned so I wouldn't recommend it

Recording Clubhouse crash course
4) Obtain an auth_token, user_id and user_device_id. You really don't want to use your own user account, just use an invite =) If you don't want to understand how it works, just use that awesome python lib, run cli.py and authorise. You will find everything you'll need in settings.ini. If you are a smart guy, you can call client.start_phone_number_auth('+7123467890'), receive the sms code and then call client.complete_phone_number_auth('+7123467890', '1234'). You will receive auth token in result['auth_token'], user_id in result['user_profile']['user_id']. Response header CH-DeviceId contains user_device_id. You wil use them like that:
