Deathwing Heroic Talent Idea: Obsidian Dominance. Gain access to Destroyer & Worldbreaker forms at once.
All of this you might find for yourself just by using TryMode 2.0, which is basically TryMode with a lot of new features, such as spawning units and adding abilities to the heroes. You can also use StormmapGenerator to get those features work on any map.

Keep HOTS alive with custom game modes/maps like in WC3
I wondered if this was possible. Given that it’s an online game, I wasn’t sure what all was local to the game vs pulled from servers. But when I searched mods I didn’t find much. I did find this though https://jamiephan.github.io/HeroesOfTheStorm_TryMode2.0/ which had some nice info about how maps work. Maybe a start? If the community thought it was worth it.

We need the ability to play together on a modified map

Did not know this was a thing but it's a game changer! SIU has a mod that lets you build culture building modules inside a radius instead of having to be all connected.
