Multiboxing | Standard launcher + Steam?
If I had to guess, I would say that wouldn't work. There are two common multibox launchers, Gw2Launcher and GW2 Launchbuddy. I used to use Launchbuddy but got turned off it because the dev started locking bug fixes behind a paywall, and now I use Gw2Launcher which actually seems to be far more customisable anyway.

My GW2 launcher often forgets either account or password
Not the above poster but I use gw2 Launchbuddy. It has many useful features like storing credentials and graphic settings for multiple accounts (useful for alt accounts or logging into my partner's account for something).
