Right now, it is accessible only through VPN. Even programs like DPI blocker are not helping

As in you cant access those sites (you got redirected to the ISP site)? Try changing your dns (make sure to clear your dns cache too) and try using goodbyedpi. Recently my country start enforcing isp to block piracy sites along with other sites (porn, reddit, etc) but since their method is just to use dpi, i could just use goodbyedpi to bypass it.

Russian internet censorship is very simple. They don't seem to be using DPI to target VPN protocols at all, instead trying to block IPs/subnets of known commercial VPN providers. Blocking IPs, subnets, and domains is the primary operating mode of Roskomnadzor.

There allegedly is DPI, but it only comes into play as an extra measure against things like domain fronting, proxies, and plaintext HTTP. It'd look at the SNI and inject a RST packet to drop the connection. As it does not even try to implement TCP, analyzing each IP packet in isolation, there are various interesting utilities[1] that mess with it by, for example, splitting the TLS ClientHello into two TCP packets in the middle of the domain name.

Has anyone managed to bypass DPI on their iOS devices locally (without connecting to overseas VPN)? It seems like almost every other popular OS has had a publicly released method (Windows, MacOS (and Linux), lots of others for Linux, even Android), and only the iOS community seem to have no interest, or at least public interest, in local DPI bypassing. Achieving local bypassing would allow for access to all the ISP-blocked websites, without the speed penalty that comes with a foreign VPN host.

linux noob here, I have tried installing zepret but it doesnt seem to work. Any help regarding its installation will be appreciated. changing my DNS from openDNS to nextDNS helps me access the websites i want. but websites like youtube become a lot slower when loading videos.

There is a similar project that supports Linux, but its much more focused on Russian censorship.

Most browsers now a days support DNS over HTTPS to encrypt the SNI /Client Hello(Server Name Indication). And then there are tools like this one to circumvent DPI. I wanted to know the difference between the two. Won't Encrypting the client Hello/SNI suffice to bypass the such censorship?

You don't need a paid VPN. goodbyedpi, zapret and DPITunnel will unblock almost everything blocked by the government (porn and piracy).
