can't connect to Whatsapp Web using FF
I see. seems my problem isn't coming from Firefox, rather than PiHole as a service with GoodBye Ads List. Most of meta platform now is horrible. I'm out (only Whatsapp seems a little bit okay) https://github.com/jerryn70/GoodbyeAds/issues/309

Problem with Instagram while having NextDNS enabled.
The thing with instagram was mentioned on their github issues. Following the issue page I tried adding i.instagram.com to the allowlist and so far it has been working for me.

Netshield does not block YouTube ads
NetShield uses very basic ad blocking lists, and it's not going to block every ad, or every type of ad. It doesn't block YouTube ads. Goodbye Ads has a dedicated YouTube list you can try with a dedicated ad blocker, like uBlock Origin.

Will NextDNS block Ads on mobile Spotify on iOS?
No, those are the main blocklists. If you go to the Goodbye Ads repository, you'll see they have a specific Spotify blocklist. The main blocklist won't do anything for Spotify. As for Lightswitch05, I was mistaken. They don't have a Spotify blocklist extension like Goodbye Ads does.

Block 45.76.93.104 and 2001:19f0:6c00:1b0e:5400:4ff:fecd:7828 at the firewall if possible.
Ensure that DNS-over-HTTP (DoH) is enabled where it can be.
Set upstream DNS servers that block malware, such as 1.1.1.2 or NextDNS
Delete "fritz.box" from the domain search list in DNS settings.
Educate your parents to be cautious about directly typing domain names or searching from the OmniBox.

Ask HN: Which tools are the best for internet safety for kids?
I've tried hosted Pi-Hole and AdGuard Home. They are good as long as I'm around to fix stuffs. Then I tested something which can be global (home) and also for individual devices -- Control-D, NextDNS, and Adguard DNS. All of them works pretty well. If I really have to choose, then it would be in the order of NextDNS > Control-D > AdGuard DNS. Affiliated with none, and have decided to subscribe to all three to further test them for this year.

I first used Safari on Windows around 2006. Put me off forever.
